Just looking purely at stats from last year it might be the other way around...

Walker had 7 sacks, 16 QBH, 32 QB pressures & 10 TFL

Dre'Mont had 6.5 sacks, 10 QBH, 45 QB pressures & 9 TFL

I didn't think the two of them were so comparable to be fair.

Does he play anywhere near as well with Justin Jones next to him instead of Jeffrey Simmons

This is where i'm at - i don't hate the signing, $1M/sack seems about right, but Simmons definitely drew a lot of attention and jones was the dude on the broncos DL, plus he only played 13 games last year

Walker's skill set fits as a 3tech DT.  He's big/strong enough ...  Because of that, I think the Bears will draft a DE and DT in the 2nd round.  They will add more DLs in later rounds.  It should be sufficient for this year.

If the Bears get a quality OT in the 1stR ... We should be contending for the playoff .... :)  Anything less is not acceptable... with all the money spent....

Probably my favorite at 3 tech taking Jalen Carter out of it.

I view Tuli and AA as edges who can kick inside on passing downs rather than straight 3 techs.    Not unlike what Walker has done.

I think Tuli and AA are more talented than Walker.

Their are reports that Bears view AA as a 3 tech only.   I disagree with that.  He ran a 4.4.   That qualifies you to play outside some.

Where have you seen that? I saw they asked him about playing the 3T, but strictly as a 3T would be news to me
