Bateman, Agholor, Wallace, Duvernay

Look out world

Bateman (perennially injured, probably plays 6 games this year)

Agholor (trash, but he stays healthy so that's our WR1)

Tylan Wallace (99.9% of fans have only heard of him because of Ravens fans making jokes about how bad he is)

Devin Duvernay (jet sweep guy recovering from a broken bone in his foot, probably won't even be ready to start the season)

Mark Andrews telegraphing the play presnap depending on whether he lines up on the line out wide or in the slot incoming.

The best part is that literally 2 better WR's were signed moments after we signed Agholor (Chark to the Panthers and Marquise Goodwin to the Browns). le sigh man. le sigh.

Can you though?

Definitely.

If your team runs a lot out of 11 then you’d probably want someone better. I could also understand some teams wanting a WR3 that’s at least really really good at just one thing (like MVS) and may be less rounded. But Agholor’s not awful as long as he’s your third receiver. Especially in Baltimore where he’s really the 4th option, factoring in Andrews.

Nelly balled out for the Raiders when we used him as a deep threat so the Patriots decided to abandon that and use him exactly like the Eagles did.

He didn’t get separation anywhere. Got to the point where we brought him over the middle to try and find soft zone, still nope. He’s fast, but he’s easy to cover

I think he’s a decent WR3. But who is the Ravens WR2? Damn sure can’t be Duvernay or Wallace lol. Wallace is complete trash and WR5 most teams. Duvernay is a nice change of pace WR or WR4.

Duvernay, unfortunately, is our WR2. He was last year and still is this year because, you know, we just don't sign or get WR's here.

Ravens: let's sign a WR

Lamar: aight bet

Ravens: Nelson Agholor

Lamar: AYO KEN FIRE IT UP I AIN'T GETTING ****.

Ravens to Lamar 2019 - 2022: "Sorry Lamar, we don't have the cap space to sign good WR's because we're still paying Joe Flacco and Earl Thomas' salary."

Ravens to Lamar 2023: "Sorry Lamar, we don't have the cap space to sign good WR's because your franchise tag is taking up everything."
