2023 WC Finals: (1) Denver Nuggets vs (7) Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are not a good team. They're...fine. Some people fell for them taking advantage of a bad schedule to end the season and then beating 2 very flawed teams in the first 2 rounds.

The Nuggets are a different animal and will show it this series, all 4 games.

Jokic is absolutely the best player alive rn lmao

People doubted him because he hadn't made it far in the playoffs outside of the bubble as if his team wasn't garbage. Just like the narrative around LeBron the first time around in Cleveland. Now that the Nugs are healthy and have a squad around him I'm not surprised. No one controls the game as well as him right now, sure he's not some DPOY level player but he can pick it up as shown in these playoffs and his offensive game is absolutely generational.

Okay maybe they do sweep.

The Nuggets' dip at the end of the year threw people off. This is an all-time amazing offense with a maestro at the top of his powers. It's going to be hard for anyone to keep up. Maybe Boston if Tatum goes wild, but I don't see it.

It always was. Embiid puts up great stats, but Jokic plays the right way.

Forget passing big men, he has a legit arg for best passer period in NBA history, it's undefensable when he has angles which he always will because he's ******* gigantic. That's not even accounting for his rebounding and scoring on top of playing above average defense.

The "he's the nerd MVP" stuff looks real real stupid now.

Unreal that people fell for Embiid's campaign. Dude is significantly worse than Jokic in the playoffs, yet didn't hear a peep about it. As if picking the wrong player is better than picking the right player just to keep that player from winning 3 straight. It's so ridiculous.
