Ranked dead last or close to dead last in many advanced metrics. Drake, Fournette, and Cook are also pretty washed. Cook probably has the most juice left but he's not a Top 25 back anymore. goblue Posted August 10, 2023 Share Posted August 10, 2023 A "top 25 back" is by definition one of the worst starters in the league. Drake isn't washed because he was never all that to begin with. Fournette is done and never really lived up to his billing and is a head case besides. Cook (admittedly due to injuries) still should have plenty of gas left in the tank but yeah almost every game I ever saw him in I was so underwhelmed. Mattison is an upgrade IMO. Drake is a warm body that comes pretty cheaply, so not a bad move by the Colts, but if he becomes the starter, they'll be looking at another high draft pick next year. Course they might anyway given they didn't upgrade a pathetic OL and IMO Richardson will be as reliable as the weather. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
