In my view, the play calling is fine. Guys are getting open in the passing game. There are three issues I see:

1) Run game can't get going because.....

2) Guys are missing assignments/blocks. They are better in pass pro, but someone is getting beat individually from down to down to often and.......

3) When they sustain blocks, Jimmy G is not seeing the field and/or not trusting his read/arm to make the throw.

This all feel correctable. But as Adams said, we 'aint got time to wait and figure it out towards the end of the season. They gotta go now.

Who's gotta go

Here’s another play Renfrow wide open for a TD…Jimmy G doesn’t see it

Theres been at least 6 times WRs running open for a TD this season

I'll defend Jimmy the same way I did Carr on plays like this.  Renfrow doesn't come "open" until the ball is already going somewhere else.

With that said, we all see Jimmy missing wide open guys, but I don't like people showing plays that really weren't a miss to hammer the point.

Agree with this. Playcalling hasn’t been perfect of course but there are bigger issues right now.

Yeh, you can’t expect more time than that when a TE is one on one with no help against TJ Watt.

I think this is another example of WTH is Josh thinking.
it worked this time, but why the hell are we putting our rookie TE on an island against a what top 3 pass rusher in the nfl lol

I don't think Jimmy G is as bad as he's looked these past couple weeks. He will play better. But he needs some help too. The Steelers were pushing the Oline around and putting a ton of pressure on him. And without a run game, things are going to suffer.

It's not just Jimmy G that is sucking it up on offense.

He’s not throwing with anticipation or throwing to a spot where that WR is open. A better QB is lighting the score up

When you combine his turnovers and missed TDs , he’s been disappointing
