Thats all Im saying Right, my main point is that while he gets crap for his passing game, his units still produce points. If he had someone who was a true #1 WR (like Fields has with Moore), he probably would've won the Heisman again. Aside from turnovers, his stats were better in 2023 than 2022. He takes a 3 step drop out of shotgun, hangs on DJMoore, then looks at Velus late, and doesn't pull the trigger when Velus is is WIDE open. Apparently reading it outside in. Granted, Grandpa Velus can't be trusted, but why is he the #2 option on the play if we aren't going to rip it in there on time when he is open? He's gun-shy toward some players. This is not good. He believed in his feet too much. He needs to learn how to make life easy for himself by trusting other players.
