onejayhawk
Don't sleep on the Bears. They invested a ton in free agency. In particular, their DL is massively better than 2022.

After the chiefs lost week 1 and only put up 17 this week, i fully expect this bears game to be the “get right” game the chiefs need. Habbsawce
Rest Kelce for this game. Let him get right.
onejayhawk
The Bears did some serious investments in their defense. So far it has not shown much, if any, improvement. Now, their Defensive Coordinator has resigned. It looks bad in the short term for the Bears but the Chiefs get full advantage. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38447917/alan-williams-resigns-bears-defensive-coordinator
chiefs82
Either KC wins 38-10 or lose by 3; could be like the Indy game last year

But the Bears are pretty run down and have very little on offense so anything less than a comfortable win would say something more about us more than anything. Chiefs_5627
Files this under the "shock folder" but KT is hurt again with a sprained toe and may not play. 🤦 So that means is he can't go James is also hurt for a while. Getting closer to Ross time? 🤷
onejayhawk
Injury designations are out. The Chiefs will have to do without LB Nick Bolton and WR Richie James while WR Kadarius Toney, LB Willie Gay, and RB Isiah Pacheco are questionable. On the flip side, Lajarius Sneed has no designation meaning he will play. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/chiefs_release_injury_designations_ahead_of_game_vs_bears/s1_16631_39292495 Losing Bolton for the game was expected but also losing Gay would be a big bite. Fortunately, the Chiefs have some depth at LB. Both Chenal and Tranquil can play the middle though TRanquil has considerably more experience. mayanfootball
I am now expecting more good play out of J.Watson/wr. Watson, Rice, Skyy M, should be good. Mahomes needs to get his yardage up. Edited September 23, 2023 by mayanfootball
onejayhawk
Both of the NYG WR are hurt. What are the odds? Some injury notes. Watson will likely return punts like he did last year. Pacheco is likely to play but KR is still up in the air. Bolton is out so Tranquil will play MLB and call the defense. With Pacheco hurting, The Chiefs' running game is going to be different and this should be a team that they can run against.
EMAW_KSU
I just don’t understand why we haven’t unwrapped the Ross wrinkle in the redzone yet. It’s going to happen, and when it does it make every play down there more dangerous, especially Kelce when there’s another big body threat. Toney, meh, honestly surprised it took until week 3 but honestly our team could have been 2 and 0 if he didn’t play week 1 but, hindsight. At this point what we get out of him is a plus but there is zero chance the team can depend on him.
Chiefs_5627
Why would Rice stop running? He had a lber between him and Pat 🤦
Jakuvious
Really thought that was a safety with the hold on Karlaftis.
Chiefs_5627
Seems like the WRs just run their route and then just sit down, that's not how Patty works guys
