All of these short play calls always have an *if*. They either need to spend more time on those things during the week or cut them out. I left out the problem, which is the problem on a lot of it short yardage plays. We have to get cute. We have arguably the best 3 inside lineman in footballand can’t pick up short yardage because we refuse to just hammer the ball forward. You know why the tush push works even though people know is coming? Because they are dominant. Bring Bell in at QB, have Grey and Kelce push behind him hell, bring Kinard or Jones or someone else in to push too out of the inverted wishbone. Who cares if they know is coming.
