I agree, Kirk was never this bad except maybe in that TNF game against the Giants where he threw 3 INTs

Kirk was so bad that if the “you like that” game never happened Gruden was getting fired and he was getting benched. There’s some serious revisionist history going on here with Kirk.

No, he wasnt. Also, we're getting a new front office and coaching staff, so they'll want to draft their guy

This is true , but I just refuse to believe LT won’t be the first thing in mind . This is just unacceptable including a second round RT or sometnjng .
Stromberg and lucus should be getting playing time

BS. Total BS. Go look at Kirk’s stats at the end of 2013 & in the beginning of 2014.

Kirk had 3 int & 4 int games early in 2014 & an awful int vs Tennessee right before halftime which got him benched for Colt Mccoy.

And Kirk had the Shanahan’s, with Matt Lefleur as his QB coach in 2012 & 13. Then Jay Gruden & Sean McVay as his OC in 2014 & he still struggled.

QBs take time to develop and need to make mistakes & have the opportunity to learn from them. And time and again Howell has shown maturity and resiliency to bounce back after a rough half or rough game.

Not to mention he had a prime Jordan Reed who might’ve been the closest thing to Travis Kelce we’ve ever seen. DJax, Garçon and Crowder.

Kirk was awful to end the 2013 season when the Shanahan’s benched RG3 for Kirk.

Kirk had a 3 int game & a 4 int game in 2014. He then had a bad int vs Tennessee right before the half which got him benched for Colt Mccoy & Kirk never played another down in the 2014 season.
