JIllg Posted November 24, 2023 Share Posted November 24, 2023 Seattle’s done a tremendous job of taking away the posts and ins and crossers and trying to force Brock to be Jimmy G. As he has more ambition than Jimmy G, this drives him nuts. And we don’t want to test them outside the numbers down the field because their corners are really good against verticals. So our beautiful killer passing game has ground to a halt and we’re having to poke at swing check downs and choice routes over and over again. Those are nice fallback options but show that the scheme and/or the quarterback is getting eaten alive. Probably both but with a bigger issue for the scheme imo.
