We also passed on Mahomes in order to trade up and draft Mitch Trubisky, and 75% of the fanbase, when surveyed (multiple different surveys, even), want to keep Fields instead of drafting Caleb, despite Fields being a significantly worse qb in his first 3 years than Mitch was. Oh, and our last 3 coach/qb combos, the qb has been brought in the year before the head coach is fired... Which we might get to see yet again this year, if we do draft Caleb, because we kept Eberflus. I'm not even sure "dysfunctional" is even the right word....
