Butte lost so I no longer control my division destiny.

TL needs to pull off a miracle for me to have a chance. And if he does I'll probably lose to Rio anyways lol.

Had Butte won then there was a good chance this week was meaningless for me as far as the division goes.

Can I just say... I freaking LOVE RNGesus sometimes. He's by boo. He's always watching over me.

Take this sequence, down 20-3 coming out of halftime, with the run chance set at the lowest possible:

Q3 14:57, 1st & 10 on the WAT 25: Isiah Pacheco rushes up the middle and stuffed for no gain. Tackle made by Fletcher Cox.
Q3 14:22, 2nd & 10 on the WAT 25: Isiah Pacheco rushes up the middle for a gain of 3 yards. Tackle made by Fletcher Cox.
Q3 13:56, 3rd & 7 on the WAT 28: Khalil Herbert rushes up the middle for a gain of 1 yard. Tackle made by Tremaine Edmunds.
Q3 13:24, 4th & 6 on the WAT 29: Ryan Stonehouse's punt downed by the Wattsville Waste Walruses for 58 yards.

Some sneaky game planning right there. Always keep them guessing, amirite?!

So, Rodgers and the Hornets tack on a FG, expanding their lead to 23-3. We're facing a 3rd and 14. Gotta make a big play, right?

Q3 9:05, 3rd & 14 on the WAT 21: Isiah Pacheco rushes up the middle for a gain of 1 yard. Tackle made by Lavonte David.

Ahh, the ol' 3rd and long RUTM. I heart that play.

From the point we went down 20-3 in the 2nd quarter, and until the late 4th quarter, we RAN MORE THAN WE PASSED (17 run plays, 16 pass plays) despite having our Run Chance set at 30.

On the final two drives, Jeff Fisher yelled out a mighty "HERE WE GO!" and decided to let Dak throw the ball. We called 12 passing plays, only one running play and scored 14 points.

I love my RNGesus.

@TheKillerNacho are we sure Butte is eliminated?

Lancaster and Burlington beat Reykjavík.

Butte beat Anchorage and Lancaster.

I win or tie one game.

It would be Lancaster, Reykjavík and Butte for 1 wildcard spot at 9-7.

Lancaster swept Reykjavík so they are H2H vs Butte. Butte beat Lancaster in week 16.

Butte makes playoffs.

Youre correct, they have that scenario that allows them to get in. I will update

Week 15 Power Rankings:

1. Rio de Janeiro Pirates (12-2, LW:1) - Rio clinched the division a while ago and essentially locked up the top seed in the conference but if they want to up their chances in the playoffs, they'll be making sure to do their part in keeping Hamilton out of the playoffs.
2. Indianapolis Predators (11-3, LW:2) - They've clinched a playoff berth and will clinch the #1 seed if they win the division. They clinch with a win and Freiburg loss.
3. Little Rock Uni Royals (10-4, LW:3) - Little Rock survived against Butte and will clinch the division with a home win vs Wattsville. If they somehow lose and Hamilton gets a result vs Rio, then they will play Hamilton for the division in the final week.
4. Reykjavik Direwolves (9-5, LW:4) - They just need a win to clinch. I don't believe there is any other way for them to clinch early. They are looking good but if they lose they likely get Mac Jones as Hanoi is not looking to play spoiler.
5. Hamilton Hornets (9-5, LW:5) - The Hornets look like one of the better teams but they are getting their victories out of conference and it is definitely limiting their margin of error. Hornets clinch with a win at Rio and an Amish loss. One of those results could be replaced with a tie.
6. Freiburg Venom (10-4, LW:7) - Freiburg are looking very strong and are looking set to have their match vs Indy be for the division and #1 seed.
7. Greenland Polar Bears (9-4-1, LW:6) - Greenland pulled a huge comeback victory to clinch a playoff spot. Honestly if they lost they might not have even made it. Still a weird team.
8. Butte Bots (7-7, LW:8) - The league thought the Bots were eliminated but if they win out and the Direwolves lose out they are in the final wildcard as long as Hamilton get a result. Why can't Hamilton lose out if they are ahead of Butte regardless? Well Butte would own tiebreakers vs the Direwolves and Amish but if Hamilton loses out then Butte would never get a chance to apply those tiebreakers as Hamilton would lose their tiebreakers with them first.
9. Lancaster Fighting Amish (8-6, LW:10) - Their numbers have reverted to reflect their record as opposed to early on when their record was a complete anomaly. They were definitely lucky early but now they are simply playing well. These Amish are definitely Fighting. They are still feeling good for the playoffs because they own the tiebreaker over the Hornets, who play two of the top 3 teams to end the season.
10. Egypt Starfalls (7-7, LW:11) - The late loss to Greenland stings. A win essentially locked them into the playoffs. Now they will need help from Scranton. Scranton is the home team vs Phoenix so Egypt is pencilled into the playoffs for now.
11. Hanoi Viet Kongs (6-8, LW:13) - Hanoi are eliminated but they've played better this season than teams below them. They just haven't been consistent. It was a disappointing season but they are winning despite trying to tank. That further shows that I don't think I have them too high.
12. Phoenix Rubber Ducks (8-6, LW:9) - Phoenix look like frauds this season. They've only beaten teams with losing records. They are currently in the playoffs but they aren't projected to remain there. If they win this week though they are likely in and will have done so without a win vs a team with a tied or winning record. Heck, they could even win the division still if Greenland doesn't get another win.
13. Scranton Papermakers (6-8, LW:12) - Scranton owns the tiebreaker with Phoenix if they ever finish with the same record but Scranton lost to Egypt so they will be eliminated if Egypt win.
14. New Zealand Blobfish (5-9, LW:14) - The season was a disappointment for them. If they win out they can finish among the "good" teams but right now they are closer to the bottom pack than the middle.
15. Anchorage Amphibians (5-8-1, LW:15) - Early on the metrics seemed to show that they were either a bad team or unlucky due to their schedule. As the season wore on it became clear that although they are competitive at times, they are not close to as good as they were expected to be.
16. Cincinnati Buffleheads (5-9, LW:17) - Just when you think they will play well they don't and when you write them off they get a victory to stay away from the bottom.
17. Burlington Sock Puppets (4-10, LW:16) - Burlington and Cincinnati are very similar teams this year but the difference seems to be that Cincinnati has better ball security. Burlington has slightly better wins but the worse record.
18. Lake Minnewanka Ice Orcas (3-11, LW:18) - The Ice Orcas can move up to the #2 pick with a Wattsville win and can move up to #1 if Tokyo also win as long as they keep their net points lower.
19. Wattsville Waste Walruses (3-11, LW:19) - If they lose out they will finish 2nd last at worse but they don't own any early picks of their own so they aren't trying to tank. They haven't been the most competitive team lately but they have excellent spoiler opportunities.
20. Tokyo Samurai (2-12, LW:20) - Tokyo looks set to get the #1 overall pick outright or via the transitive property if they get in a 3-way tie with the Ice Orcas and Walruses. However if the Walruses get a win then they could "slip". Plus the Samurai have 2 very winnable games coming up themselves.

I think my game was next. I was looking forward to that one and watched 2 or 3 of the prior ones.

you mean the division? they technically haven't clinched the conference yet, since they lose a theoretical tiebreaker versus Little Rock

I did and then I merged the two different sentences somehow in my scramble.
