Lions extend HC Dan Campbell and GM Brad Holmes through 2027 season

Their vision is a good one and they seem to have a handle on evaluating players. The era where the Lions are taken for granted as a contender has begun. Now they have to keep it rolling and keep pushing to take the next step up and win a Super Bowl.

Love this for the Lions. They signed Campbell to a 6 year deal through 2026 originally. This only gets them 1 more year, but clearly comes with a massive raise.

Running a good organization doesn't have to be that complicated. If you reward leaders and promote the high achievers, people stay. This is exactly why Ben Johnson wanted Jim Harbaugh money to leave.

HC and GM are low-value FO positions. Lions would be better off spending this money on their marketing and facilities coordinators

I hear they need a new kneecap collector.

They’ve accomplished more than any lions regime since Wayne Fontes and done some things beyond even that. I can’t remember the last time a coach or front office was extended beyond their original contracts here……..so this is what a competent organization feels like…..feels great man….
