I've had similar options in some mocks I've done where I've had to choose between either CB or Chop Robinson (WRs or OTs are not in the cards for me at all)...in most cases, I think I've chosen Chop, but I just feel in this instance, this would be where I would be okay taking a CB.  While JPJ may be considered, I just don't think this is the place for them to take a C.  So, Wiggins is the guy...who many had the Vikings taking at #11 a couple of months ago.

I considered a few different players, JPJ and Frazier or Wiggins. For me Robinson is lower because of basically no production in college, which isn't ideal for a DE/EDGE moving forward. I'd consider Latham because he might be better as an OG than an OT in the NFL which is why I left him on the list. WR could be fun to add, but that'd be building on a strength.

Protect the franchise with JPJ.

If Murphy had been available he would've gotten my vote.

Landing McCarthy and JPJ would be a homerun draft on paper, IMO.

For the sake of discussion which CB fits Flores' scheme better? Wiggins or Kool-Aid?

It's hard to say because I think they would both fit it well.  They're both versatile enough to fit either in zone or man (which is what I believe Flores wants to do).  But, Wiggins is taller and speedier and over time might be the better CB, but Kool-Aid is going to be better right off the bat.

Aside from having zero interest in drafting a CB from Clemson, I’d be out on Wiggins due to his frame. I just don’t see how a 6’2”, 175 pound CB is going to fare in the NFL.

Was hoping for Barton,  but Powers Johnson fills need and is  in the BPA tier.

It just depends on the frame on what he can add to it.  I personally don't know enough about it. 

Not a big Brian Dawkins fan (of course he was a safety, not a CB)?  Or were you just ruined by Mackensie Alexander?  🤣

The program, under Dabo Swinney, has just not produced the NFL talent relative to the hype they receive during draft season. On the defensive side of the ball. 

Much like Alabama offensive linemen under Saban.
