e16bball
Absolutely furious to see Tahj Washington come off that late. Would have thrown the UDFA bucks at that guy.
BigTimeRedskins
And the draft is over! After googling Jaylen Key, I saw that he was born on Feb 29. Kinda cool that Mr. Irrelevant is a Leap Year baby.

The big test for DQ is going to be balancing his desired attacking play style with an ability to be stout against the run. In recent years, Dallas tended to get gashed by some of these teams that could run the ball -- especially the Shanahan type offenses that would use the aggressiveness of the DL against them. My hope is that this could be a bit different due to this being the best DT group DQ has ever had. Payne, Allen, and Newton are good enough to be aggressive while still impacting the run game. The key will be he if he can obtain the right personnel to balance his base cover 3 scheme. Lets not forget Marguese Bell a safty played 90% of his snaps in the box last season for the cowboys. That makes a big difference in the RG. They played alot of dime coverages and still fielded a top five defense in terms of points allow. But b/c of not having the right personnel and due to injures playing alot dime coverages you can be had. Case in point the Packers who ran alot two TE sets who are good pass catches and good blockers and having safeties cb/safties playing LB in the box I am sure any offense with the right personnel will be salivating with dime Defense. Having CB covering big athletic TE and playing in the box is a no no. The Pack had the right personnel not only run on the boys but beat them handily with a two TE set.
ripsean21
So this draft throughout made complete and utter sense too me. Athletic profiles at their positions for what Seattle used to do and what Quinn and Whitt have used in years past. The offensive profiles made sense as well and logically Jayden was their guy and it was pretty obvious all along. Peters values visits. The ND edge visited Mikey visited as did Sinnott and Jayden and Coleman. It’s an abnormal draft because our picks were so early dominant day two isn’t a day you’re going to see like this from year to year. 5 picks and really bright players in very excited for this class
