A back up who you use in case of emergency except we're starting him. I hope he excels but it’s def a position we can upgrade. Also I understand they couldn’t fill everything. So ideally we can find 2 more plus level players through draft and FA this next offseason and we’re looking at a really promising unit because I do like Tyler and Sam a lot. Guys play in the NFL with huge elbow braces all the time and we never know exactly what their injuries are. I definitely think Algretti is an upgrade over what we had at LG since Rivera cut Flowers two years ago. I don’t expect him to be a pro bowler or anything but if he’s average/serviceable then that’s an upgrade. I think Cosmi will be good enough where he can handle his guy one on one a lot so that frees up Tyler B to help Algretti at LG double team the DT on that side. What is everyone basing this on? I see you and @lavar703 bashing the signing & we haven’t even played a regular season game yet. What are you guys basing him sucking on? I find it hard to believe that Adam Peters would sign a guard & then that guard ends up being worse than Nick Gates was for us last year. I just don’t believe it right now. We knew it last year especially after Tez & Chase were traded away that our roster was one of the worst in the NFL bc Rivera was either in over his head trying to be a HC & GM or, he just wasn’t capable of being a GM. At the least Rivera was complacent in trying to improve the roster.
