Honestly, I've gotten to the point where, although I'll watch Lions games, I'm more interested in things like NSFL. NSFL (and, to a significantly lesser extent, fantasy) are pretty much what make me want to watch football at all. If you get to the point where you'd like to drastically revise the schedule - one game per week, or one season per year - I think we'd all rather that happen over the league shutting down.
