So the trade down in R2 with the Eagles had us sending #40 (which became DeJean), then we also sent them 78 & 152. The Eagles gave us 50, 53 & 161. This allowed us to have 2 more second round picks. So, we couldn't have taken both DeJean & Sanristil unless we had taken DeJean or Sanristil instead of Newton with our natural 2nd round pick #36. I see what you're saying though. As of right now I would've rather taken DeJean or Kool-Aid McKinstry at #36 rather than Newton, but that could change depending on what each guy does this year.
