I agree, even with the rich tapestry BS. If history is weighted that much, certainly Rodgers should be top 5. But we don't weight equally for players.

If Lamar started the season like this, we'd be back to calling him a bust, despite 2 recent MVPs.

If Stafford started like this, we'd be forcing him into a retirement homes, despite a recent-ish SB.

I love Mahomes obv, but he should get the same criticism as everyone else when they play bad.

All valid points. Just saying I guarantee you all had posters dog piling Josh Allen in 2018. The NFL isn't college, college starts don't make you an NFL vet. Just because he is older and started in college doesn't mean he gets four games to label him one way or another.

I don't believe starting a rookie QB is going to save their season. I also don't believe they should put Maye out here unless they're able to adequately support him, lest they risk ruining him before his career gets off the ground.

He's making mistakes, he's taking sacks which he NEVER does, he's clearly not comfortable fully this year. Is he hurt, is the offense just out of sorts, is Kelce's decline stunting the entire offense, are the RB injuries just too much, ultimately it doesn't matter. He's not playing well right now.

Mahomes has been known to play poorly in the regular season here and there. We've seen that movie before, though.
