Trojan
Tom Brady, or Tom Wagner the billionaire that buys teams and tags Tom Brady along for name recognition? The Davis family owns something less than 50% of the Raiders already, just Al's shares said he had final say and the others were silent partners. Does Tom (Brady/Wagner)'s shares come out of the Davis shares which have say? Do they have input on hiring/firing/running the team or do the shares become silent like the other owners? Is it a silent partner selling 10% not Mark from Mark's shares? Why is none of the real questions or more details on Tom Wagner, or is it all Tom Brady and Wagner is just financing him? Do they shares have power or nah? Edited Sunday at 04:10 AM by Trojan

G
Well if he at least influences Mark to make good football decisions then GREAT. Raiders and Tom will always be tied together because of the Tuck Rule but now even more so. KARMA...That game led to Gruden getting traded and beating us in the Super Bowl. We bring Gruden back and he trades Mack. Grudens past emails upset GODdell and Gruden goes buh bye and Tom's old OC comes on board. MickyD's throws Carr away and has to pay him to do so then MickyD's is replaced by a LB coach because Tom stayed retired and Jimmy G who was behind Tom is now lowering Raiders worth to make it affordable for Tom. LB coach is hired as the HC and yells RAIDDDDEERRRZZZZ alot and we still don't have a QBOTF...Tom becomes an 'owner' and Las Vegas cheers to have another celebrity to market as their own. Just Wynn Baby but Steve Wynn doesn't own Wynn now either so it's a 'Mirage' but no that a Hard Rock but the Raiders look like a Circus Circus. =P

Do they shares have power or nah? The Raiders ownership structure seems kinda murky, and it's a good question re: where Brady's stake in the team has been purchased from. From the information you can find online about it, the Davis family own 47% of the team, with the remainder split between 8 minority owners. The 47% share owned by the Davis family has full control of all football operations. I would assume that Mark Davis has sold part of his own stake, but would still retain full control of all things football. As an aside, must be a nice asset to have if you're one of the original 8 silent partners (or their heirs). The team's value will have skyrocketed in recent years.
