@titans0021 can I also ask you if you know if there's a way to keep text Bolded or in Italics when I copy into this site?  I make the grids I post in this thread on google sheets, and it keeps the form and layout from the sheets but I have to go in and manually Bold and Italicize text that is already that way in the google sheets (meaning the text is already bolded or italicized in google sheets, but for whatever reason when I paste onto the site it isn't anymore).  For some reason that doesn't transfer.  It would be a huge time saver if I didn't have to manually do it every time I post here on the site.

Honestly, I have no idea. Just tried testing it out since I already had a couple google docs open and yeah, lost the bolding. Really weird since it kept any highlighting and different font colors, but the bolding totally disappears.

Ya it keeps the colors and everything.  But bolding and italics are lost.  I'll ask Webby in the Feedback Forum and see if there's a work around.

Oh man this is a fun team.  Let’s start with the new QB, the kid has got a cannon.  Freshman QB T Austin threw for over 300 yards in his debut and scored 4 passing TDs.  He also scrambled for 2 rushing TDs.  He’s a real weapon out of the option in the redzone, he practically walked into the endzone since the defense collapsed on HB E Miller every time.  I did throw 2 INTs, but they were in the 4th quarter when I was dicking around trying to run up the score when  I should have just been running the clock out.  Still, need to curb the turnovers.

The defense feasted.  SS N Pearson had the game of his life, with 3 sacks, 2 INTs and a defensive TD.  I had one defensive TD all of last season and I just scored one in Week 1.  Could be a sign of things to come.  ROLB K Robinson got his first sack of the year, but new addition LE C Armstrong had 3 sacks and a forced fumble in his debut!  That is fantastic because I wasn’t really getting the production I wanted from that position last year.  I usually user control ROLB K Robinson, and I was pushing the pocket to the right, and Armstrong was coming in and getting the QB when he was busy avoiding Robinson.  These guys are going to be quite the tandem.  My defense had 8 total sacks in the game.

Wow I was not expecting this result, I completely dominated Wisconsin.  They are a poor matchup for me, all they try to do is run out of a traditional pro style offense (the don’t run the option) and they don’t throw very often.  I just loaded up the line and stuffed them.  They really didn’t do much offensively.  Unfortunately their playstyle doesn’t lead to many sacks or turnover opportunities.  LE C Armstrong did pick up another sack, and his 2nd forced fumble in two games.  He’s a playmaker.  MLB Bailey had 10 tackles but dropped two easy INTs.

Freshman QB Austin shredded them for 371 yards in the air and added two more rushing TDs.  He completed an insane 33 of 36 attempts.  A big difference between him and Cobbs is that he can throw on the run, whereas Cobbs would just throw it into the dirt if I was moving at all with him.  I don’t want to make a habit of throwing on the run (it leads to INTs) but its necessary sometimes when under pressure.

Freshman WR Gould has been a great addition to my WR core, he has great hands and already has 4 TDs in two games.  He’s a great redzone target.

So this is how my current roster is constructed.  There's one free roster spot, I have 11 graduating Seniors and there are 4 cupcake roster guys left that aren't graduating.  So I effectively only have 16 roster spots available to recruit for.  I need to have a smaller recruiting class this year.

I only just saw this after seeing your post in the Feedback forum and have gone through the whole thread.

You've progressed a lot quicker than I ever could.

I used to make the exact same table in the post above to keep track of how many recruits I could go after :D

NC State is solid but I completely dominated them.  My defense had a good game, causing two INTs to CBs Dunbar and Brewer.  I got pretty consistent pressure but didn’t land home a ton of sacks.  ROLB K Robinson got his second sack of the season, as did NT Seth Brown.  LOLB S Gopre had a good game with 3 TFL as well.  My only let down was against the run, I allowed 2 really big runs which is why they had so many rushing yards.  If I hadn’t of allowed those two big plays I would have really stuffed them.

Offensively I moved the ball really well.  I would have had even more offensive yards, but KR CB J Smith had an amazing game with his first return for a TD this year, and two more solid returns, plus a 31 punt return.  His speed is incredible.  I spread the ball out a bunch to several different receivers, no one really stood out amongst the group but I’m glad I’m starting to get WR K Little more involved in the offense.  HB E Miller had another 100+ yard rushing day.  I’m giving him about half the touches per game he was getting last year but he’s making the most of it, rushing for 9.1 ypc.

*CB Dunlap made an incredible athletic INT.

I really thought I was going to lose this one, things just seemed to be going completely wrong for me.  I couldn’t run the ball, I turned the ball over 2 times, I was getting no pressure on defense, yet I somehow pulled a win out of my hat.  Let’s start with the turnovers, neither were really my fault.  The first was a scramble with QB Austin that he fumbled into the endzone when tackled, resulting in a touchback.  That one hurt because it took 7 points off the board for me.  The second was immediately after another scramble, Austin got shaken up and backup QB Skinner came in for the play.  His first play of the season he hit WR M Hawkins in the hands for a first down, but the pass tipped of his hands into the air and was intercepted by the defender.  Other than that mishap Hawkins had a good game though.

My defense played decent against the run but they threw 3 passing TDs and I couldn’t pressure them at all. Pitt has a good OLine.  I feel like they could have scored more points if they had thrown the ball more.  I was lucky.  I think this is my first game of the season with no sacks at all.  CB Dunlap had 2 pass deflections, or as they are alternatively known “dropped interceptions”.

*Big kick for the win.

Recruiting News

I signed up 2 more recruits to come next week against GT, and another to come Week 8 against Virginia.  Next week is going to be a big game for me, a ton of recruits coming to visit.  GT is ranked #10 in the nation too.

I checked last night and the NCAA Football servers are back up and running.  With IRL college football starting this weekend I think I'll pick this back up this weekend too.  I look forward to making VCU the powerhouse it should be.

Can you give us more specific details on the guys you've locked up as well as your top 5-10 targets? Like where they stand, if you're confident in your ability to sign them, their position and their fit into your scheme?

You mean where I am right now in this current recruiting period?  Or add that to the game write-ups each time?
