Especially if we land Wright/Slafkovsky at #2 on Thursday. I think Slaf will come over right away but I may be in the minority there. Bratt-Hischier-Holtz Sharangovich-Hughes-Slafkovsky/Mercer Tatar-Wright/Mercer-Johnsson Wood-McLeod-Bastian Is kinda of what I'd expect if we don't land Gaudreau. Could also see us dumping one of Tatar or Johnsson for a 3rd pairing dman and playing Zetterlund on the 3rd line. Johnsson to Arizona for future considerations should be a no brainer. I expect Zacha gone, but tatar to stay. Kuokkanen to stay. I think it depends on who is brought in. If we don't get a top 6 wing, I could see Mercer popped up to a top 6 wing spot and boqvist 3c. Hell, call me crazy but I'd consider the racist too. He'd give us insurance for Severson at least and can play up the blue line. Damn man, I just don't know what we're going to do. I'm guessing that they just feel like it's not worth giving up the sm assets and they will just nab a cheap 3rd RD as a ufa. Because most of the RHD that are on the market that'll be cheap are not offensive guys. Lot of people are pegging Okhotyuk for that spot over Smith and Bahl. If that's the case, are we just going to punt offense on that unit? That's why I'd want to get my hands on Bear. He fits the timeline.
