SemperFeist
Let’s keep the discussion for the 2nd and 3rd round here.
SemperFeist
Austin Corbett is who I’m predicting the Vikings will grab in the 2nd round. We may even see a slight trade up to secure the guy they want.
SemperFeist
Will Hernandez - G - UTEPConnor Williams - T - TexasJames Daniels - C - IowaTyrell Crosby - T - OregonAustin Corbett - G - NevadaBraden Smith - G - AuburnJamarco Jones - T - Ohio State These are about the only o-linemen left that I would project as immediate starter quality linemen. CriminalMind
I'm prepared for a trade down from our 2nd round pick to high-mid 3rd round.

This is my list as well Getting one of Hernandez, Williams, or Daniels would be ideal, but highly unlikely late 2nd. I think the strategy of going OL in round 1 would pay off if we could get either Corbett or Crosby. Smith and Jones are my bail out options. SemperFeist
The biggest issue with not taking an offensive lineman at 30 is that now they pretty much forced their hand into grabbing one in round two, and it’s likely going to cost them more than simply the 62nd overall pick. CriminalMind
5 minutes ago, Virginia Viking said: Why? Cause I think their will be an early run/mini run on OL ... and we won't want to part with resources to move up. Once we're on the clock... the OL available we might be able to get 8 picks later for example.... so they decide to move down, and acquire another pick. Snake Plissken
Last year Spielman put together one of his best drafts without a first round pick. If day 2 is anywhere near last year's, I'll be happy.

I actually wouldn't mind that either. I suspect that Williams and Hernandez will go early here in the 2nd rd, with Daniels maybe slipping to the middle of the round. They may be able to trade back and pick up an extra pick and still get O'Neill, Crosby, Smith or Corbett.
Heimdallr
what time does round 2 start?
CriminalMind
I'll re-ask the question here ... what is the lowest you would accept in a trade for Waynes. It's possible we may/may not [offset potential] get a 3rd round compensatory pick for Waynes two years from now

As a young CB on the open market, no way he sees less than $12 million per year.
Heimdallr
Right now, I think my remaining top-10 for the Vikings would be: 26 Connor Williams - T - Texas 25 Will Hernandez - G - UTEP 13 Harold Landry - EDGE - Boston College 47 Austin Corbett - G - Nevada 29 Maurice Hurst - DT - Michigan 30 James Daniels - C - Iowa 38 Dallas Goedert - TE - South Dakota St 14 Derrius Guice - RB - LSU 39 Justin Reid - S - Stanford 61 Mason Rudolph - QB - OK State
