First Arkham Asylum was bombed killing hundreds, then a celebrity was killed on live television, and now an angry mob was circumventing the law at night. The officer said to himself, "Wow, could this week get any worse." Right as he uttered those words he rounded a bend in the road, stunned at what stood in front of him. The mob had blocked the road out in front of the police station. He slowly stopped his police car inches from the crowd, immediately regretting his decision. The mob began to break the windows on his vehicle, a beer bottle came crashing through, exploding glass everywhere. The officer stood no chance, the mob dragged him out of this vehicle and tied ropes to his hand and ankles. The officer was moved to a tree on the side of the road while a member of the mob spoke to all, "We must clense Gotham before we can start anew, freedom has a price. The price is a steep one and this man must pay it, all of those corrupt in Gotham will pay it." The officer was horrified now, he managed to utter a few words through his stuttering, "You, you, you have the wrong guy. I'm not a dir, dir, dirty cop. Pa, pa, pa, please listen to me." A chant began to come over the mob, "The corruption must end! The corruption must end! The corruption must end!" As the chant ended abruptly, the men strung up the officer and left him swinging. Those closest to the officer heard him try to utter his final words, "We are...." then there was no more. @MookieMonster is dead, he was Officer Blake/Robin - Civ aligned.
