Willing to bet anything Lonzo doesn't shoot that bad again. He'll be around 35-36% this year. Not great but good enough for what he can do.

Idk...His form is ATROCIOUS. He can't shoot off the dribble effectively against most NBA defenders basically.

He was a rookie last year.  A lot of rookies struggle shooting in their first year.  Look back at LeBron, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, etc.  Lonzo's shot accuracy will improve plus, he's about to take a crap load of WIDE OPEN jumpers playing with LeBron, Kuzma and Ingram.

None of those players had Lonzo's shooting form. It's so hideous.

We shall see. I don't see how anyone is confident in him improving that much.

Matthew Dellavedova has a horrendous form and he shot 37% on 3s last year (38.8% for his career). Ball's shown the ability to shoot from distance in both college and high school. I'm not writing him off after one season. There's no reason to.

Ball shot 36% from 3 in high school and 41% in college. There's no reason to believe he can't shoot 34/35% from 3 as a pro.

Didn't he shoot completely normal until like his senior year in high school? NBA 3 is also deeper...so...

It's definitely as bad. Absolutely.

Disagree. Ball is right eye dominant so it at least explains why he curls towards his right side rather than pulling straight. Delly shoots like Philip Seymour Hoffman in Along Came Polly.

I referenced his senior year #s and his UCLA numbers. It's not like he wasn't pulling consistently from NBA range at both levels.
