Strikes me as pretty close to ideal, if you land a free agent safety.

Like the top three selections - talent and position-wise - but dont think Hockenson is slated to last that long.
I cant speak to the other selections - so I'm gonna trust you did a good job! :)
Just get DIFFERENCE MAKERS at our positions of need. Please.

Hypothetical: Would you rather, with the first 3 picks...

     a) draft offense and use free agency to upgrade the defense

     b) draft defense and use free agency to upgrade the offense

                                              or

     c) non-plausible scenario so not worth the time

If you chose a or b, who would be your ideal acquisitions?

I'm A all day especially with Rodgers window closing. I want as much talent as possible if he's going to stop being Godgers. I'm a firm believer in chemistry being much more important on the offensive side of the ball than on the defensive side. I want young, talented offensive guys around him growing together over the next few years.

I mean the issue with the hypothetical is that the offensive talent in free agency this year is not good- I think the best non-RB (lol, no), or OL (perhaps) free agent is Jared Cook.

But hypothetically the talent would be evenly distributed.

Hit the nail on the head. This year, it’s gotta be Defense in FA, offense in Draft. If you’re looking long term, then likely reversed. At least at 1.12

I'd prefer a combination of A and B with a lean towards A.  Lets sign a starting OLB and S instead of drafting them and needing 3-5 years before they are quality starters.  We've seen what good throwing damn near 100% of your quality picks at the defense has done for us over the last 4 years.  Our defense still sucks and we now have an offense that no longer is capable of playing playoff caliber football.

I want a starting S, starting OLB (Flowers, Barr and one of the Smith's would be my order of president) and a G in UFA.

If the above happens, I'd like to an OLB (or athletic Defensive lineman), S, TE and WR with our first four picks.  Dream would be to trade back 5 or 6 picks and grab an extra 2nd or high 3rd because I think there could be a pretty steep drop off of talent at 12 depending on how the draft falls.  Might not be all that big of a gap between 12 and 18.  Also love the value in this draft in the mid second through the early 3rd.   As it sits now though, maybe an OLB/ Athletic DL (Gary/ Oliver) @12, Iowa TE @ 30, WR or S @ 44 (Samuel, Brown, Gardner-Johnson, Happ, Adderly)  and what ever position isn't drafted in the second is taken in the 3rd (Harmon, Boykin, Thornhill, ect).
