He’s a very solid #2 TE. Hes a penn state product.
sdrawkcab321
OBR names were looking at and have shown interest in Steven Nelson - CB Jesse James - TE JR Sweezy - G Tyrell Williams - WR Rodney Gunter - DL

Gunter! Gunter! Willing to pound the table for James and Gunter. Williams is too expensive. Wants 12-14 mil/yr? Pfff get outta here.
DawgX
Wouldn't mind any of those guys depending on the price. James would be a solid #2 TE, and I was impressed with Nelson every time I watched the Chiefs last season.

Prolly rather just keep Perriman and invest they cash elsewhere. James and Gunter would be nice.
sdrawkcab321
I love Jesse James. He’s ready to break out in the right system.

Hopefully Sweezy would only be brought in as a backup, though. If not, that's not a good sign for Corbett.

Mind Character
According to b.i.l.'s connect at BTI Sports Advisors.... It hasn't been reported yet, but the reason we shopped then cut Fells is because he requested to be traded, and he did so in the most respectable way; that is, quietly without much disruption to the team. He was unhappy with his role and usage all season. He was apparently made promises every week about his increased usage in the passing game to no avail, as well as the fact that when he was recruited they sold him on a plan to incorporate him into the offense via multiple passing targets a game and redzone usage. He still loved his teammates and was hoping to stay in CLE, but during exit interviews it was made clear to him that his planned future usage was exclusively as a blocking TE and they no longer saw him as a viable multiple target a game TE. So, both sides agreed it would be in both their interest to part ways with no malice. ... imo, Fells still has impact and juice left as a pass catching TE so it's unfortunate that we couldn't work things out b/c of how good he was as a blocker as well. I'd predict he ends up on the Patriots and has a crazy season of production. Edited March 10, 2019 by Mind Character
