I gotta say it, but Armstead is a pretty freaking quality football player. Gets a lot of hate but damn solid.

He's actually been fantastic this year. The problem is that what he does isn't sexy, so he's not going to be anyone we ever want to talk about. Unfortunately, what he does, while he's good at, is also largely expendable and replaceable. He'll never be worth the 9 million he's going to make next year, for example. He's a guy that you want to have the on team, but he's not going to be a guy that makes or breaks your team either. But having a great year overall.

Okay, so I think this game has pretty much solidified what we need in the offseason:

-Backup QB
-1 RB who can stay healthy
-2 WRs that can stay healthy. Bonus points for one that scores touchdowns and bonus points for one that can consistently make plays
-Backup TE
-Interior line...depth for sure, maybe a starter.
-Pass rush...at least 2. Maybe 3.
-A linebacker that can tackle/cover.
-A series of DBs who can cover.
-Defensive players who can force turnovers (doesn't really matter at what level).
-A reliable return specialist.
-Maybe a punter/long snapper depending on who we bring back.

Did I miss anything?

Definitely, but really he's always been good as long as he has been on the field. But with Thomas, we don't really need him for that type of money.

Sounds fairly accurate.

So...a football team minus like 4 positions?
