great move by the browns

wont cost them much.

high reward, low risk

steelers are messing around with bell and a transition tag fiasco for big money  while the browns grabbed a much better player for a lot less

You're just fooling yourself now. When playing, Bell is considered by many to be the top back or close to it. Even if you think Bell won't be better coming back now, Hunt isn't MUCH better.

This is a strange move for the Browns with their backfield deep already. It could work out nicely for them, but this could also blow up and cause some animosity in the locker room depending on how Chubb takes it.

all you have to do is look at bells last years stats. there are several rbs with better ones. when you add in injuries, drug issues, contract, ego, and the drama he brings to the locker room, hunt is MUCH better.

im sure there will be a ton more animosity if bell returns compared to the hunt/brown locker room. players will sympathize with hunt. our players have already publicly voiced their opinions on bell

None of that makes him a better RB though. When playing, Bell is at minimum around the same ability. Overall, I would give Bell the edge when he is playing.

he is .9 yards per carry behind hunt the last year he played. thats huge

his longest run was 29 yards. no home run threat
