Someone else is mad jelly that their division rival has a better QB than what they could land in the draft, and has to watch his talented receivers get squandered.

Yeah, man. I’m real worried that Jared Goff won’t be able to do anything with Michael Thomas and Julio Jones.

Noticed you had traded for Goff on your PS. It is what it is. I'd reckon Carr on your roster would be better than Goff this season. Don't @ me.

Somehow this is a keeper and worth two seconds? That ain't it chief.

19th and worse in all but one stat. And we saw with Amari Cooper that good receivers die with his trash arm. I’m good.

And then a guy with 10 career starts over the past 3 seasons goes for a 3rd.

I'm not proclaiming Derek Carr to be some sort of messiah at quarterback. But the hate he's getting, and the value he went for, I truly do not see why it seems absurd. pwny keeps referencing all these random rankings, when in all likelihood the difference between someone ranked 20th and 10th is probably off by a couple of points.

The Oakland Raiders certainly had a bad season. But Derek Carr personally had some of the best statistical outputs of his career, and still has 2017 and 2016 as a starter that gives him an edge over someone like Patrick Mahomes, who has basically only 1 year under his belt. I just feel like a lot of bandwagon hate is going on, and frankly I don't see why. Maybe I suck at evaluating players. Probably why I barely win in this league I suppose.

1. They aren’t random. They’re the stats from sites that are being used to compile sim ratings

2. They differences are sizable.

3. If you’re arguing this point at all, you’re conceding that he’s going to be virtually no better than whatever QB you can draft in the 5th round.

Glad you're coming around on Stafford
