Nacho is town because no one else claimed cop and the jailer threw him in last night, meaning if he was Mafia he’d have been blocked from making a hit, and since there was a hit last night, he’s got to be town. There’s always a chance that he would have been Mafia and it wasn’t his turn to hit but claiming cop and no one else claiming cop means he’s Town. Now you can claim power roles. Left are: 2 mafia 1 cop 1 jailkeeper 2 townies (vanilla civs) Cop has already been claimed by Nacho. The jailkeeper needs to stay alive, and for that he needs to stay hidden, so he should claim townie for now. Mafia can't claim jailkeeper otherwise they could be outed as mafia fairly quickly. Therefore, the 5 others players (not Nacho) have every reason to claim a townie role. Doesn't mean they are townie, and it doesn't mean they should be trusted or not trusted. He’s the cop, but on the off chance that he’s not and the cop hasn’t stepped up to out himself, then he’s Mafia and if it’s his hit tonight then you’ll block him anyway. Another one, would be to lock up who you think is the 2nd mafia.
