SemperFeist
Since he’s really our first (and only?) free agent signing, I figured it’s worth his own thread.
SemperFeist
It’ll be interesting to see the structure of the contract. Kline is a average starting guard, which will look like an all pro compared to what we’ve gotten. An injury filled season led to a down year for Kline, but his 2016 and 2017 seasons put him in the top half of guards.
SemperFeist
Also, judging by the AAV of Kline’s deal, money didn’t seem to be the determining factor with Easton. Unless, maybe the Vikings weren’t willing to go that high.
SemperFeist
This signing also opens up their draft options, a bit. Offensive line should still be the primary focus, but getting Kline at RG gives the Vikings some more flexibility in between drafting a guard, or a tackle. Hope it doesn't change draft outlook to much but might be able to get by with: Reiff-Elflien-Bradbury-Klein-O'Neill I'm still hoping we double dip on OL provided the draft board allows it. TENINCH
State champion in Wrestling during high school. Wasn't Easton also a good wrestler?

Yes if they went Bradbury in the 1st , they should go and get BPA OL in the 3rd after trying to get another immediate contributor in the 2nd. Maybe Irv Smith Jr. Or Jerry Tillery
