If you watch him play you can see that he's a sniper. 40% 3 point shooting forward that plays defense, he honestly might already be better than Danny Green.

So it's one of the top leagues in the world and definitely higher quality than NCAA basketball. But yet he's coming off of a career year, 15/4/4 on 45/33/77, I'm not saying he's an elite player. He's literally our third string PG yet better than your starting PG.

How much William Howard did you actually watch?  Stop pretending like you watched any of him prior to him signing with the Jazz.  And a bunch of highlight tapes isn't good supporting evidence.

There's legitimately only 2-3 leagues outside of the NBA that are high quality.  The French League isn't that.  It's closer to college basketball than it is the NBA.

When you lose your primary ball handlers for roughly a season and a half worth of games, what do you expect to happen?  You have Donovan Mitchell, Ricky Rubio, and Joe Ingles miss roughly a season and a half worth of games, how many games do you think the Jazz win?

I expect great players to carry their teams to the playoffs like Mitchell does.

He's a 6'8" Danny Green that actually plays well in games that count. Dude is nice. Our secondary unit is going to wash teams. Why are we arguing about Jazz third string players. I've never claimed that this man would be elite just that he has some promise and we can develop him.

D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle were so-so in LA and great once they left.

Julius Randle's per 100 possession: 29/14/5 with Lakers, 33/13/4 with the Pelicans.  The only difference was that Randle averaged 15 FGA per game with Pelicans as opposed to 11 FGA with the Lakers.  He actually shot 56% in his final year with the Lakers as opposed to 52% with the Pelicans.  The only difference is he was given the green light to score with the Pelicans.  Same thing with D'Angelo Russell.  He was given the green light in Brooklyn he wasn't with the Lakers.  His USG% jumped from 26.6 in his last year with the Lakers to 31.9% last year with Brooklyn.  He had the 6th highest USG% in all of the NBA last year.  His final year with the Lakers he was 32nd.  Let that sink in.

When the Jazz suffer as many injuries as the Lakers did, we can have this discussion.  Mitchell didn't carry the Jazz to the playoffs, but nice try.

The Lakers hold their young talent back. You guys had like 5-6 lottery picks and couldn't even win 40 games. Let that sink in.

Because you literally started pimping NGW and Howard like they were more than bodies.  You started this crap.

Carried a mediocre offensive team. The Jazz haven't been healthy in the beginning of the year the past two seasons. We've been below .500 for the first half of the season and then dominated the 2nd half to make the playoffs.

Article I quoted that from actually had it wrong. Though you're also wrong. Their numbers are lower and are top 10.

NBA.com qualified catch and shoot 3pt%

#4 Danny Green

#6 Quinn Cook

Alex Caruso is up there with them in % but doesn't qualify. Don't see Troy Daniels.

They could be, as I said, we're one of the best franchises in the league at finding diamonds in the rough and developing them. Two of the best players in Europe last season to fill out the end of our bench.

Jazz haven't been healthy?  Let's go over the GP last season.  Donovan Mitchell (77 games), Rudy Gobert (81), Joe Ingles (82), Ricky Rubio (68), Jae Crowder (80), etc.  Dante Exum was literally the only notable player who missed significant time last year.  The year before Rudy Gobert and Alec Burks were the ones who missed significant time.  They've been pretty damn healthy.
