Final quick mock...

#12. Henry Ruggs, WR: Speed Kills.

#23. Kenneth Murray, SLB (Raiders trade #19 to Patriots for #23 & #98): Makes the position a strength with three interchangeable LB's.

#57. Jaylon Johnson, CB (Raiders trade #80 & #91 to Texans for #57): Lock down CB potential, shoulder injuries a concern.

#81. Robert Hunt, OG: Versatile lineman and LG of the future missed Senior bowl and combine due to surgical procedure to our benefit here.

#98. Jauan Jennings, WR: Possession WR with a lot of fight in him.

#121. Ke'Shawn Vaughn, RB: Quality back up RB solid in most areas could improve run blocking.

#159. James Lynch, DL: Baylor's all time  leader in sacks interested in what Marinelli could make out of him.

Tafur no longer thinks the Raiders are considering Utah State’s Jordan Love with either of their first-round picks, so it sounds like Carr will be entering 2020 as the starter no matter what. How long his leash will be is an entirely different question.”

I don't see the value for Murray now. This is a nickel league and we are paying Kwit and Littleton to start in their mid 20s. We should add a developmental LB, but we could get a safety like Delpit/Mckinney in that range. I do like the trade up for Jaylon Johnson and I think the Ruggs, Vaughn picks make a lot of sense.

What would be your rationale for taking Jennings over a more athletic similar-sized receiver like Pittman or Claypool in a similar spot? Or a more polished guy like Van Jefferson? 4.72 is pretty bad for a big WR and should easily drop him to day 3 bare minimum.

Good. Mariota can push him hard. Mariota is definitely better than Love/Herbert at this point. And he doesn't turn the ball over indiscriminately. And we can invest these valuable picks in building a respectable roster.

Yeah, I’d much rather try and re-develop Mariota then spend a 1st on Love.  MM has more potential then Love and Herbert.

Ugh I wrote a whole Detailed reply and then lost it!

“Final” mock draft? Yeah sure! you got like 6 more in you! Lol jk

i really like the picks of Johnson, Vaughn, Hunt, and Lynch.

I watched a good number of Lynch cut ups and I feel he’s raw (he just shoots upfield no matter what... even on draw plays when RB is going past him in the G/C hole LOL) but he has some “it” factor to him.  He’d be a good value in the 5th to develop for year 2.  I like Vaughn’s Sneaky speed and power for our RB2.  Only knock on him is he doesn’t really do anything special.  He’ll either carve out a lo nf career as a backup or be out the league by year 3... I have no idea)

I like Hunt as a LG to develop and replace RI in ‘21 of ‘22.  With Gabe’s future unsure I really like how you got us a nice future starter!

I also think Johnson would be a nice pickup.  We’ve all talked about him a good amount lately.

I’d be mad if we took Ruggs over Lamb and Jeudy.  Like throwing plates off my 3rd story deck and ***** shooting them with my .45 ala the “Fiasco of ‘99” when I lost my mind when we took a kicker over Jerry Porter, then when near plateless we took Porter in round 2.... boy did I feel dumb then!  But yeah I’d be breaking or shooting something if we go Ruggs at 12.

I really dislike Jennings, especially in the third.  He ran a 4.72 and he ain’t no A.Boldin!  That lack of speed is a pure disqualified. Lmao At PFF whose lack of knowledge had him as a 2nd rounder.

Im a huge a Murray fan but I couldn’t substantiate a first after FA.  I not that bad because At 23 he’s a decent value plus we get a late 3rd in trade.  It really depends whose on the board.  I’d really like Delpit here.... but if the board falls a certain way I can see this being a logical pick.

Overall, I like how you drafted but not always who you drafted.  But your opinion is just as valid as mine.  I really like the “approach” of the draft though.  You maneuvered the board to get all your positions of need filled.  If your dead set on Ruggs I’d say trade down maybe.  I feel like we’re just giving up too much value passing over Lamb and Jeudy for him at 12.

Also as your a card carrying Carr hater, I appreciate you not vindictively not getting Carr the help he needs at WR. This is very rare around here.

I would like one of those guys in that spot but I figured Claypool and Pittman will be gone maybe Jefferson I almost put him there but maybe gone aswell. I could live with Delpit over Murray, I think Randall still on the radar in FA however.

Try the TDN mock draft simulator.
If we sign Randall I think we go hard for a corner and maybe even trade up for okudah.

Love the Jennings pick. I'm a die-hard Vol fan and he has been the one player who has popped and been an absolute lynchpin on the field even through all the turmoil the past few years. Whenever we have needed a clutch play throughout the past few seasons, it has always been Jennings bailing us out of anyone was going to.

He's a beast, people worried about his 40 time, I'm not he plays faster to me and clutch.
