FF Big Big Brother 8: Finn wins! Postgame show NOW

I hope that throughout this Jury phase that I have at least made you consider granting me your vote. I evolved my game once more this season to become more a social and trustworthy player, and I think that's evident by how I positioned myself within the Final 5. I had the trust of everyone there at one point. I didn't play this game to cause drama or to be the Big Bad Wolf I had so beautifully painted myself as in previous games. I played this game for one reason; to win. None of my votes were decided on a personal level. None of my nominations were made on a personal level. Every decision I made in BB8 was made to further myself and give myself a greater chance of advancing one more week. During the post-Jury phase I won two of my three vetoes (all of which I won when I was nominated and had to save myself). My first HoH was used to take out the scariest player in the game for all of us; ET80. This eviction gave me 3v1 numbers (with Flux + Finn) vs. Outpost when I had previously convinced myself I was down 4v1 in the Final 5. I had to be creative to survive. Despite Outpost not being in my Final 3, I couldn't exclude him since he was a true threat to advance himself. I played up my alliance with him and was able to convince him that I was on his side. When Outpost won the final Veto he chose to keep me over Flux. And after winning Part 1 of the final HoH, I once more had Outpost trusting me enough to concede the HoH. I took this opportunity to keep my word with Finn and take him to Final 2 with me - where we are today.

In BB6 I would stab you in the back and turn you around and stab you once more in the front for good measure. I then had the gall to basically demand the votes of the Jury (three of which are on the Jury here once again). I played hard. But I played that wrong. I hope that the Jury here can respect the growth that I had shown this season, and I hope that they can see that I had the most agency once more in the post-Jury phase of this game. I worked harder on my social game than Finn. I had more challenge wins than Finn. I hope that I played a game worthy of a winner. And I hope that I can have the pleasure of receiving your votes to be the winner of Football's Future Big Big Brother 8.

As always it's been a joy to play alongside all of you. And it's an honor to keep being allowed to play this game. Thanks @Malfatron.

this is false. you didn't deal with double digit pages of hate-pm's. i did waaaaaaay more socially than you. you played a more cautious social game that didn't ruffle feathers.

is there any doubt had fin not gone rogue, that the mol/Naz + mol/fin alliance not destroyed the rest of the game?

naz, I respect your intentions in this game. I can’t fault somebody for being out for themselves over the greater good. I think you struck that balance perfectly. 
 

naz, why is daylight not higher on your list?

fin, would you have been willing to axe Flux with the mol had you not gone rogue and we teamed up with Naz and dwight?

Playing nice in the sandbox and not ruffling feathers certainly requires effort on a social game. You’re mistaking volume and work here.

Daylight (as all songs on the album are) is divine. It's the perfect end to Lover. It's upbeat, uplifting, has beautiful instrumentals, etc. 
I absolutely adore Taylor's message at the end of the song. It's a perfect send-off.

I based these rankings on a few credentials; 1) Chart Topper 2) Lyrics & Meaning 3) How moving it was.
Cruel Summer, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, Death By a Thousand Cuts are bops. These are the songs I always turn up in the car.
Lover is a masterpiece. Soon You'll Get Better is heartbreaking as hell. The Man hits credential 1 and 2 hard. London Boy basically only hits #1, but it's so cutesy that I love it.

That puts Daylight where it is at 1i. It also makes me sad that there are no more songs after it. I just want moreeeee.

you getting axed wasn't part of my plan. ET winning and completely blowing everything up was definitely the biggest single move of the game though. he and you know that wasn't my intention when i nom'd naz and dwight. that's obvious as i was nearly evicted at that point too. i didn't know you had a side thing with naz going or whatever. if you told me about that, i wouldn't have done it.

i'm not gonna double check math and **** lol. malf like never mistakes with that kinda stuff. a majority of the time, i'm out and just peeping my phone when the challenges are going down usually. it's also pretty damning that my "most loyal allies" just let me lose that. not that it really mattered at that particular point.

Daylight is a literal masterpiece of a song. Also written about the MoL.

if dwight/naz would have been still around then that means i wouldn't have made that "rogue" vote on your rogue nominations to send dwight out so there would have been no reason to axe me.

Of course we let you lose that since I was the declared winner. No reason to point out the error since it was kept in the family, and then we didn’t have to worry about anyone going rogue.
