He had maybe 1 pressure last week. He did not flash.

He showed that he has the tools to get to the passer and ability to set the edge- not quite sure what you are expecting from a rookie in his first preseason game.

To look like he's capable of more than taking one fast step, presenting his entire body to the offensive tackle, getting punched in the chest, and ending up stonewalled three steps short of the QB.

The same nonsense he did his entire career at Michigan

He is. The kid was thrown to the wolves in the cluster**** that was CLE. He stunk. Surprise, surprise. The entire organization and team stunk. He played all of a few downs for us last year. And you think he's a finished product? Evaluate a lot of talent do you?

Ha. Yep, I’m sure I evaluate talent as much as you do. I’ll reserve the right to be realistic about being a football and Packer fan, and say that while I don’t doubt Kizer in some world, on some team could be an answer, it’s pretty obvious if he’s any kind of answer for this team - were screwed.

Name me a high draft pick QB who was this mediocre in his first 3 seasons and suddenly turned into an answer for any team? The trajectory he is on is bad for any player and you know it. Is it recoverable by chance? Sure. About as likely as the Packers winning the Super Bowl this year.

IMO Gary made a nice play on the play where Bolton makes the TFL on the RB.  Gary pushed the OT back into where the RB wanted to go, and was getting around the OT and would have been right on top of the RB if Bolton hadn't jumped in first.  The defense hasn't really looked like they were doing anything special so far.  I won't really be worried about Gary until a few weeks into the regular season.

If somebody gave you 14-1 odds on Deshon Kizer turning into a franchise QB, would you take it?

Would anybody?
