Brady playing as perfect as you can get in the 4th and a couple big defensive plays is what won that Super Bowl.

A season opener with injuries is definitely a good gauge for the entire season.
Dan_Bali
The Ealy bust and Rivers injury have hurt us. We're making Alex Smith look like Rogers at his best.

Yea, he's been making some great throws down field. I can't see him replicating this too much.

Soko
Sucks to see Berry go down, been a favorite of mine since he was drafted. Hopefully, Gronk gets going now.
mcmurtry86
Win or lose, the Pats are clearly a top team who look like a team with a lot of new parts. Sloppy and out of sync. It happens. My biggest concern tonight is the DL/LB talent. There's not much high end talent - especially with Hightower out. The low-end starters (Van Noy, Brown, Richards, Harris) all look pretty shaky and I don't think any of them have much room to get better. With Hightower, they can get by and be a solid unit. But without him, that's a really underwhelming group to be kind.

everlong
On the bright side, we've started 0-1 thrice. All 3 instances we ended up winning the Super Bowl. So there's your optimism.
