Soooo... for lunch today we stopped in Madison and tried Dotty Dumpling’s Dowry at @ramssuperbowl99‘s suggestion.  Absolutely wonderful burgers, really appreciate the suggestion.  Madison was a cool town, really nice campus too from what I saw.

Glad to hear you liked it. If you're swinging back in the area any time soon, @ me and I'll let you know of some other spots.

And there's a beer tasting event this afternoon if you're still in town.

I'm taking a road trip with the family to Panama City, FL in June. That should be...fun.

Just got in. 11 hour drive from Texas to Florida, about to get breakfast at a place called The Pancakery. Bacon infused pancakes, so I'm off to a good start.

Sounds incredible.

Had some oysters from a place called Dusty's. Nearly as good as Dragos' in New Orleans (which was a life changing experience).

Grilled, usually with parmesan cheese and butter. I don't know what else Dragos' adds to theirs, but they're like sex and crack.

Grilled on the half shell. I like em raw, too.

i was about 90% raw 10% fried.... then I got introduced to oysters smoked with cream cheese and green onions and ate about 2 dozen of them. Now its about 70% raw, 30% smoked w cheese and onions

My wife had those today - those are amazing.

Its basically an excuse to eat smoked oyster dip on it's own and not feeling the shame that comes from eating it with a spoon.
