Or that they feel like their ledger book is going to look great in a season or two, with guys like Smith and Reed and Trent and Norman falling off, and they can afford to splurge on some guys. But I guess my point is that it would be the kinda thing where we hold our nose and hope it doesn’t go totally sour — not something we’re really thrilled about doing. We picked up a guy off the scrap heap who most everyone on this forum wanted to be cut (or forced to retired) (or killed), and he’s played about as well at guard as the guy who wants $15M/year. You don’t need to pay huge money to get competent guard play, so you should only be giving mega contracts to true superstars. We should move on from Norman, Reed, Smith in March and trade Trent now or after this season. That frees up over $30 million in cap space on top of the $53 million we already have. turtle28
Ah, the plays the opponents make and our defense doesn’t! Another reason why we lose games!
MikeT14
Every time our DBs are late to their assignments because they don’t know them.

If we had a new GM that’s a realistic option but it makes no sense for a guy who built this mess.

Woz
I'm not sure if I should be upset or relieved that Sling has dropped Fox (or Fox bailed on Sling), which means I cannot see the game. But because I'm a masochist, I'm going to listen to it. I get to enjoy both the flaming dumpster that is Washington as well as the flaming disaster that is Larry Michael.
turtle28
Well Cole Holcomb ain’t the answer. He can’t even get to the outside to cover Gallman.

Break his back to catch a pass that’s thrown at his back instead of infront of him? Edited September 29, 2019 by turtle28
