Gotta have him. Easy to poop on because he’s a scapegoat but he’s someone who deserves to get paid for what he has/will continue to do in Milwaukee.

Easy to **** on bcuz it’s a misuse of resources lol. He hasn’t been reliable since before the Covid bubble.  What he has and will continue to do is have a few impact games but otherwise ghost us for months if he’s not injured. This is spending money with the heart, not the mind.  I would’ve preferred giving that money to Brook (who we better not let walk).

He was absolutely invaluable in 2021. 40 points in game 4 of the Finals in a practical must win and he carried us without Giannis in the ECF (28/9/7 over the last 4 games). Not too mention, multiple 30+ point games in Ws vs Brooklyn.

We also had very little real way to reallocate those resources if he left. This is where understanding the cap comes into play.
