That year they won the state title (over Oregon State), the regional title (also beat UWash and WSU), the Pac-12 title, and the Rose Bowl title. The only title they couldn't win? The national title. Looks like Oregon is at least set to return to their dominance of the Pacific Northwest. Only a matter of time before they start competing for national titles again. Now, next season the times for the bowls ESPN airs on New Year's Day should be adjusted. Whatever bowl will air first should be at noon. The Rose Bowl should be at 4. And the Sugar Bowl should be at 8. This decreases the chance that the ending of one game will overlap with the start of another.
