Even if that was the best offer they got I don't know why the Indians wouldn't hold him and trade him at the deadline to a contender that knows it needs starting pitching. It's not like his injury was something that should be all that worrying that they are scared of decline due to it (although age might). EDIT: Just saw the post that said there should be more.
