But you could come up with literally dozens of different claims/abilities/role variations that could accomplish the same thing as you reasoned above... and lots of those other claims would leave it open for you to fake the ability later if you needed some verification. claiming LR is a role you simply can’t fake, so you can’t verify it. We’re not clearing him as town because of his claim, but I don’t think he’s most likely to be scum... and if we find scum, we have cleared him.
