Selections

Each actor may have a total of 6 points spent on them, once they have reached that cap they will no longer be able to sign up for new films. They are also capped at 3 films each. If an actor has been drafted to 3 films they cannot be drafted again even if they haven’t had 6 points spent on them yet.

You spend points on actors by drafting them with your draft picks. The point values (or for crew members, the number of films they’re available to work) for each round are shown below.

When you sign an actor to you film, please categorize them as a leading actor, a supporting actor, or a minor side role.

Round - Points

1st and 2nd Round - 6 points

3rd and 4th Round - 5 points

5th and 6th Round - 4 points

7th and 8th Round - 3 points

9th and 10th Round - 2 points

After the 10th Round - 1 Point

Crew:

Director (One film per director)

Writer/Composer/Producer/Lighting/Effects/Cinematography/etc. etc.(Two Films each)

Got it! Thanks!

I select Noah Jupe to play young John Wilkes Booth

It's ok... Milton Yarberry can have a different kid brother, I guess.

@Malfatron and I had pretty much everyone we wanted fall to us while drafting for Hangmen. This time around has been a lot rougher on me.

I've gotten my first choice for everything thus far, so things are going pretty well so far.

I thought you were going to take Adam Driver for this role earlier. Just needs to shave the goatee.

I told myself I wasn't going to use anyone from my first movie so he was out of the running. I picked Paul Dano instead.

I knew picking last each round would come with drawbacks and I wanted a challenge.

I got my 1st choice for my four main characters, so I'm happy there. But damn, all the actors perfect for my minor roles are getting nabbed up quick.

I'm trying to balance some Tarantino regulars/have worked with him before (Samuel L. Jackson and Leo) with supporting actors that are either AWESOME (Foster) or UNDERRATED (Beach) that also fit a specific "type" (Beach and Foster). From there, I figured Johannson could use a break from the typecast role of the Black Widow and actually play a supporting villain as well as playing into her strengths (crafty, edgy, smart).

I told myself that I wouldn't draft Nic Cage for this film...but I probably could have used him as the failed Pentecostal preacher turned warden too.

I may still talk myself into Bruce Willis.

Since my movie's major theme revolves around institutional prison racism/Jim Crow Laws, I will not be able to post much of the writeup here, and you all will have to settle for a synopsis. @Dome @rackcs

I'm gonna go ahead and say now that nobody picked after Round 7 may be assigned a leading role. There are still some huge names out right now so I'll give everyone at least one more pick to get their leads squared away if they've been holding off for some reason.

Basically, no picking Bradley Cooper (sitting at 5 points) with an 11th Round pick (1 point) and making him your lead. The Academy will throw your *** out.

1 Point selections are for characters whose casting won't be pivotal to your story, so please keep that in mind and we'll go by the honor system.

I don't foresee this being an issue because I don't think anyone is being that competitive about it. But let's keep it on the up and up.
