Possible they redirected Josh and he had a kill power. Mafia might have even night kills. A lot of possibilities. The simplest, Josh killed Malf is the most likely but not the only option. "lock josh" has to be bold. Traditional voting we have to wait until night time and he just needs to be up by 1. Locking your vote means you arent going to change it; so night time can come sooner.
