ravishingone
Curious, instead of going Delpit, would you trade 14 and next yrs 3rd for Adams? Keep in mind, Adams would want to get paid and not play on 5 th yr option after next season.

And BA has been adamant about keeping as much of our front seven as possible.

For that team, it was Sapp, Brooks, and Lynch. Today s Bucs JPP. David, and ???. With Adams, he is such a unique talent at 24 yrs old, I would be comfortable letting Suh and Nassib go to extend him. Certainly, I don t expect the Adams moved, but the team has traded for Keyshawn and Revis so anything is possible.
Caaddy24
Well it sucks that just one major thing will screw up most mock offseasons for me. If Jameis is given that much money, it would be straight insanity, and will ruin the team for ANOTHER 6 years. The only thing that would make it a LITTLE better, is if we still draft a QB in the first round to have as backup, WHEN, not if, Jameis starts losing games again. Other than that I like the rest of the moves and the draft is good.

Yeah that makes it better. So is the draft what you think WILL happen, or what you WANT to happen?

Aside from Delpit, I was more looking at positions. But I tried to draft the way I thought we actually would.
thejedi41
I am leaning towards trading down in the draft. I have 2 scenarios I will put forward. Pick 14 Trade with Dallas pick 17: Sure we may miss out on Kinlaw put we can pick up an additional 3rd rounder by moving down 3 spots only. We can stick and pick Delpit OR trade down again.... (I'm in for dropping again) Pick 17 Trade with Buffalo pick 22. Buffalo will be chomping at the bit to grab the best receiver possible. Another 3rd rounder added lose a 5th. Then we stick and pick OT/ BPA 2ND ROUND: QB JACOB EASON SWAP PICKS WITH LA CHARGERS AND GIVE THEM OUR 4TH (+ A FUTURE PICK?) 3RD ROUND FILL THE HOLES (Now we have 3 X 3rd round picks) Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB (I want this guy to be a BUC BAD!) Kyle Dugger S (if he's still available here) Bradlee Anae DL (if he's still available here) 4th (Compensation pick OL) 6th WR/LB PLAYERS TO BE CUT OR TRADED: I'M CONVINCED WINSTON WILL BE HERE NEXT YEAR. I THINK WE TRY TO KEEP OR REPLACE SUH (FREE AGENCY) WE NEED TO GET WHATEVER VALUE WE CAN FOR OJ HOWARD. HE IS NOT BEING UTILIZED PROPERLY HERE. TRADE HOWARD TO CARDINALS FOR PATRICK PETERSON AND ADD ANOTHER PICK 4th/5th/6th round? LAVONTE EXTENTION this will help with the Salary Cap CUT Jensen ($10M in savings) Hmmm, can we find a cheaper replacement? OL is a glaring weakness.... Gholston ($4.75M) good depth but haven't been impressed for years.... Pinion (not sure what we save here).

This isnt a mark barron ish prospect. Edited February 4, 2020 by indifference
