As much as I want to see Colby/Chimaev, why is Colby considered to be this tough matchup for him?

Because his best weapon (cardio) is supposedly Chimaev's biggest weakness and he theoretically has the wrestling to keep it standing. If you don't have a extremely solid grappling base or at least solid TDD with size at 185, you don't have a chance of keeping it standing, imo.

List of people I think give KC a tough night (not sure if I'm favoring any of them though). Anyone else I think looks like Holland/Jingliang-

170
--------
Burns
Covington
Usman
Shavkat
Belal
Brady

185
--------
Whittaker
Brunson
Cannonier
Vettori
Costa
Muniz
Adesanya (only bc of intelligence in spacing + size/strength, this is a bad matchup for izzy imo)

Days late and dollars short but here's a couple pics I got from 279 on Sat.

I took 700mg of edibles and a vape pen because even though it was a Nate Diaz fight, I know that T-Mobile is non-smoking and I don't think (?) they have an outdoor smoking section at all with re-entry. Prolly the only thing I didn't understand/like about the venue.

I had an absolute blast at the show and I watched every single fight like a dork lol. Also, the seats felt much closer than the pictures suggest, idk you know how it is with pictures.

Crowd was awesome in particular the Barnett/Khamzat/Diaz fights. Seemed relatively educated and the crowd booing the queen's memorial made me lol.

T-Mobile is probably the best arena in sports that I have been to in terms of ease getting in and out of the stadium and the lines were never too crazy long etc. I went from arena seat to my hotel room center strip in like 20-25 mins walking npz.

Idk, was a great experience and would do it again, even if it is a bit like the NFL where you are paying for the ambience more so than the viewing experience.

I agree with some of those but:

Brunson probably has worse cardio than KC and offers no threat on the feet

Vettori/Colby have cardio and wrestling abut no threat on the feet

Muniz cardio looked awful vs Uriah Hall

Brady/Belal are all wrestling and not BJJ, no threat on the feet

I have a hard time seeing someone take him down and keep him there. Burns had the BJJ and the power that had to be respected

Super cool!!!!

I went to see Stipe vs Overeem in Cleveland, and the atmosphere is unreal!!!!

I was at UFC 164 when Pettis won the title in Milwaukee. As you said, the atmosphere is what makes the UFC experience so special. The electricity that is manufactured by the crowd when a finish happens is unparalleled in sports.

Only time I've ever even gotten close to that experience was being in the Deer District when the Bucks won the NBA Championship last summer.

I need to go to another one, but when it's the hometown guy fighting, (and winning) it's extra special.

I'm showing my age....but I was in Vegas for UFC 100, which was the original Expo/weekend experience.  I went to the weigh ins (which was free) and then watched the fight at a random downtown casino.  Little did I know that Mir was from Vegas, as I was loudly cheering for Lesnar...lolololololol.  Luckily my wife and I made it out alive!!!!!!

Yeah, you seem to be looking at ways to actually win, I'm just talking about surviving the first round ragdoll haha.

Honestly, I said immediately after the Jingliang fight that Burns was the worst style matchup for Khamzat in the division.

After getting past him, I think maybe Usman and mayybe Bobby Knuckles seem like the only ones that could reasonably be a betting favorite.

I expect him to be the betting favorite given his hype train but id love to see either of those fights. I'd love to see Costa-Izzy-Colby too, if nothing else I want to see if my assessment of Chimaev v Colby is correct. I just dont think the fight lasts long enough for Colby to weaponize his cardio

Another fun story from the Expo at UFC 100....I met Mayhem Miller, and dapped him up.  He grabbed my hand, and sort of sized me up, and then proceeded to have like a tug of war sort of thing, as we held the dap a little longer than normal. It was all cool, but now that I know he is a certifiable maniac, i'm lucky i didn't receive a bully beatdown..lolololol
