Dillard goes round 1

Rock going round 2

Danny Wise going round 2/3

Do you have a big board put together thus far?  I'm curious who your top 32 are and your top 100 really (so many players seem "guaranteed" to go in rounds 2 & 3).

I cannot speak for him but I know for myself and others I know are going to have much lower grades than where players are actually going to land in the draft. Judging by reading a lot of Jon Ledyard's stuff I think he is going to feel the same way. The value at least high in the draft possible even as high as pick 6,7,8 all the way through the end of round 2 or more is going to be very disappointing this year. There are sooo many mid round talents in the draft though we might be able to start landing 4th round talents in the 5th and 6th rounds. I'm still too far out to get a good feel but the more players I watch it feel the more and more my belief of a weak draft is coming true.

I'd rather not trade a 1st next year for the #32 pick. We would have to win the Super Bowl to recuperate the value. I'd rather just suck it up.

I love all of the picks made though with the exception of Caleb Wilson. There are better TE's in this draft IMO. I'd target Josh Oliver from SDSU with our 3rd round pick if we elect to upgrade TE (we probs should).

@BleedTheClock why has George Aston gotten no draft hype yet he looks like he's gonna be a freak FB what am I missing here

Because he's a fullback. He's the best FB I've ever evaluated. I like him more than Brian Leonard when he was coming out of Rutgers. He's an elite prospect if you don't factor in the importance of a FB in most offenses. He's not very tall (6'0-6'2), but he has been used as a TE at times in that Pittsburgh offense and produced as a receiver. He's a star in every sense of the word.

What round are we selecting him? 5?
