TedLavie
London Offensive Gameplan - Mix up the play calling. There is no doubt that Gotham is a good all round defence so we have to make sure that we force them into guessing whether they are facing a run or a pass. - Look to use all three of our backs in the game again to keep the defence guessing what is coming next. TLDR: Mix up the play calling and mix up the use of our backs. Defensive Gameplan - Take away the receivers for Gotham. Thomas and Landry are talented but we feel that Haden and Butler are going to able to shut down that option for Stafford. - Attack Derrick Henry. Henry can be effective if he gets up a head of steam but we think with our front seven we can wrap him up in the backfield and take away that threat. TLDR: Shut down Thomas and Landry attack Henry in the backfield. Gotham OFFENSE - 3 Wide Jumbo We are coming out in a 3 Wide Jumbo set to take advantage of a London D Line that can’t match up personnel wise to establish a punishing run game while setting up success in our pass game. With Marcell Dareus out, we are fielding a 6 man O Line to obliterate London’s front 6. This leaves London with 34 year old Kyle Williams, banged up backup Robert Nkemdiche and some barely rosterable scrubs to man the interior. While we respect Mack and Hughes as a top pairing of edge rushers, they are both about 250 and can be handled at the point of attack. We are going to pound the rock relentlessly at this group; expect huge games out of Henry and Quizz. Getting to the second level should be routine, battering London’s second level with interior O Lineman, 5+ YPC is a lock. This is going to be a hurtful situation for London’s D as we expect to eat up large chunks of the clock, wearing out their D Line and paying even larger dividends in the second half. Since we still have 3 WRs spreading the field out, we expect London will have to move 1 or both of its safeties up in the box to commit to stopping the run. In cases where Stafford sees this, he will audible out to single covered receivers, looking away from Earl Thomas’ over the top coverage. We will target Malcom Butler in single coverage, as he has been terrible this year and lost his starting job. We are going to double Mack on passing downs with Schwartz and Peat, as he is the real threat, while Mathews should negate a big day from Hughes. I don’t see how London can get any interior pressure and we expect blitzing up the middle from their LBs or Stafford is going to have a clean pocket consistently. If interior blitzes are detected, look for Stafford to audible quick slants to Landry, getting him into open space off the line and utilizing his elite YAC to move the chains. TL;DR - There’s serious weakness in this defense against our base formation with opportunity for inflicting major damage. DEFENSE - 34 Hybrid Nickel London’s offense features a balanced attack behind Marcus Mariota, but we feel we can win a majority of the matchups and limit their success. We expect London to use the run game to open up the pass game, as Mariota hasn’t proven ready to carry a game by himself. With our front, I feel we match up well against an impressive London O Line. We will use Bennie Logan on early/obvious running downs, particularly when CJ Anderson or Phat Rob are in the backfield. Logan has demanded double teams in this role in KC, being heavily disruptive when singled thus far. Beannie clogging the middle with Watt and Wilkerson flanking him will make running the ball more than challenging for the Monarchs. To combat London’s versatility on passing downs, we sub Leonard Floyd in place of Logan. Floyd will line up outside Watt on the left defensive side, sometimes standing as a Rush LB or with a hand in the dirt as a 7T or sometimes at Wide 9, mostly depending on down, distance and personnel. This will prevent London from doubling Watt or risk a TE or RB 1 on 1 with Floyd. Creating singles for Watt in this package should produce sacks, disruptions and TFLs. In coverage, we want to limit Cooks as he is a legit deep threat. We will play him physically on the line and bracket him with help from Justin Simmons over the top, wherever he may line up. We will play sides with Rhodes and Norman while Howard mans the slot. We will play Kam up on the line over Walker, as we feel he is the second most dangerous weapon for Mariota and feel Kam will provide excellent coverage as well as additional run support in the box. We're going to give Bowman a break when Ty Mongomery enters the game and give Zach Cunningham some run. Cunningham has excellent cover skills and will spy Ty out of the backfield. With the flexibility of Kam, McKinney and Cunningham playing on passing downs, we will blitz one of them often, preventing longer routes from developing, hoping to break down the pocket and force Mariota into a mistake. TL;DR - We match up well and can handle London’s versatility

DingoLadd
London's gonna have a tough time scoring on that defense, the lack of a gameplan hurts as well.
Scoundrel
Gotham cremates London here. That gameplan though... an episode of Roseanne has more depth than that.

You're new so obviously there's room for improvement. If you're in charge of a gameplan, you gotta give it more depth. Coverage type (zone/man) and responsibilities, run/pass ratio, passing strategy (playaction, deep, quick, middle of the field ...), backs rotation (which you did) at minimum You can look at other gameplans to have a benchmark.
