Atlanta Falcons: Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Danny Etling, Kurt Benkert Carolina Panthers: Teddy Bridgewater, Will Grier, PJ Walker New Orleans Saints: Drew Brees, Jameis Winston, Taysom Hill, Tommy Stevens Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tom Brady, Blaine Gabbert, Ryan Griffin, Reid Sinnett How do you rank these rooms heading into the 2020 season? If going based off of recent history we have to look no further than 2019 with the NFCW. Footballs Outsiders ranked their starting QBs: Brees, Ryan, Brady, Teddy B = 231.9 QBR total. Wilson, Jimmy G, Goff, Murray = 232.8 QBR total. Looking at the DVOA and DVAR stats of both bunches of QBs and it looks very close as well. You probably can't point to many better situations for both QB/Coach TB - Both kinds...Tampa Bay and Tom Brady. Not what he was, but a massive upgrade in terms of intelligence and looking after the ball. He hasn't had weapons like this since 07-11 ATL - Nothing really to say. Two HOF QBs, one who is largely regarded as the GOAT and another that will hold every passing record in NFL history. We’ve never seen a top two like this before. Matt Ryan is just icing on the cake...he could potentially own many NFL records down the road (I like his ability to stay healthy much more than Mahomes). Bridgewaters is just icing upon the icing of the cake. The least accomplished, easily. But he was a ROY and I’d be surprised if he isn’t an average QB.
